Columbus Meth Dealer Sentenced For Drug Trafficking

WHEELING, W.VA.- A 27-year-old Columbus, Ohio, man, and local Wheeling, West Virginia, drug dealer will be spending over a decade in federal prison after being sentenced on Monday for selling methamphetamine in and around a Wheeling, West Virginia, playground.

According to Acting U.S. Attorney Randolph J. Bernard, on Monday, August 11, 2025, Geiontay Marshant Hoskins, also known as “G” and “Cuddy,” 27, of Columbus, Ohio, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia and was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge John Preston Bailey to 121 months in federal prison, to be followed by a term of supervised release, after pleading guilty to Distribution of a Controlled Substance Within 1,000 Feet of School Property.

According To Documents Filed With The District Court

According to court documents and statements made in the District Court, during an investigation into illicit narcotics distribution in and around the Overbrook Playground in Wheeling, West Virginia, Hoskins was identified as a methamphetamine distributor. After learning Hoskins was staying at an Elm Grove neighborhood motel in Wheeling, West Virginia, Investigators obtained and executed a court-authorized search of Hoskins’ motel room and uncovered and seized around 150 grams of methamphetamine and 56 grams of fentanyl…
