COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A Columbus man has pleaded not guilty to charges related to a 2020 murder case in the Hilltop neighborhood.
Brandon Lee Roberts faces two counts of murder, one count of tampering with evidence, and one count of having weapons under disability.
According to the indictment obtained by ABC 6, a grand jury alleges that on December 26, 2020, Roberts “purposely caused the death of Andrew Corey Merritt,” and his death is a proximate result of Roberts’ actions.
