Some Ohio students seem chronically exhausted. One school is offering guidance.

There’s no lack of energy drinks and to-go coffee cups in Meggan Hartzog’s classes at Bowling Green State University.

“They’re exhausted,” said the associate professor in the physical education and health education program at BGSU. “I try to keep them engaged so I don’t see that dozing off, but obviously that has happened in my class before.”

While her college students don’t tend to see a significant hit to their grades, exhaustion has a big effect on middle and high school students’ performance, she said…
