DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A new law passed by Ohio back in June will make some changes for potential drivers when it goes into effect at the end of September.
Under a provision of House Bill 96, 18-year-olds who may have been considering getting their license by just taking the written test at the BMV will no longer have that option. Anyone under the age of 21 trying to get their driver’s license will now have to fulfill education requirements.
