COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio school districts are required to submit financial forecasts twice a year as a way to encourage forward planning. Columbus City Schools’ latest five-year projection has sparked concern among parents and taxpayers.
Valerie Bachus, who attended Columbus City Schools and now pays property taxes to the district, expressed support for educators while calling for greater financial oversight.
