VA honors centenarian veterans in special ceremony

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — The Central Ohio Veterans Affairs (VA) held a special ceremony for all of its veterans turning one hundred years old.

On Friday, the VA held a ceremony for all veterans turning one hundred in the last six months. Family and friends were invited to the celebration, where their loved ones were recognized for both their military and personal accomplishments.

One family member told NBC4 that hearing these stories and spending time with his grandfather means the world to him.
