COLUMBUS, Ohio — A Columbus man accused of raping three women is back in jail without bond after court records show he received a lower bond than what prosecutors had requested during his previous arrest.
Philip Daniels, 35, was arrested Oct. 9 on charges of rape, kidnapping and aggravated burglary after police say he posed as a maintenance worker to enter a woman’s apartment on East Long Street downtown. According to court filings, Daniels told the victim he needed to “fix a water leak,” then forced his way inside.
