GAHANNA, Ohio (WCMH) — A woman’s visit to a local drive-thru has made her a million-dollar winner this fall.
According to the Ohio Lottery, the woman, who did not publicly share her name, stopped at Alpine Drive Thru, 210 Granville St. in Gahanna, picking up a $50 VIP Millions scratch-off.
The ticket revealed the game’s top prize, a $1 million annuity that pays $40,000 a year for 25 years. The lottery said the woman chose the $500,000 cash option prize and will receive approximately $364,375 after federal and state tax withholdings.
