In the early morning hours of October 1, a string of vehicle break-ins cast a shadow over Columbus. Between the hours of 5:55 and 7:53 a.m., opportunistic thieves shattered the peace along with the windows of several cars parked at different hotels and business locales across the city. The Columbus Division of Police has been able to swiftly zero in on a suspect, reportedly a 15-year-old juvenile.
The break-ins weren’t isolated incidents but a part of a larger pattern of crimes that this juvenile has been tied to. Currently detained on unrelated charges, this young individual is now facing an additional 68 charges in connection with the vehicle break-ins.
