UPPER ARLINGTON, Ohio (WCMH) — A man arrested in Upper Arlington after a reported attempted murder-suicide told police he could only think of “one way out” of an alleged sextortion scheme.
According to a criminal complaint filed by Upper Arlington police, a 911 call was received at 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 9 on a request for police and medical assistance. Officers arrived at a home in the 1500 block of Fishinger Road four minutes later and found a man sitting on a coach with a stab wound to his chest.
James Hill, 76, was reportedly in possession of a knife and was ordered to place it on the ground and while receiving medical care he admitted to stabbing himself. He was taken to an area hospital for additional treatment.

Hill’s wife, 66-year-old Mary Hill, was found in an adjacent room with a stab wound to her chest and was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:46 p.m. For a previous report on this story view the video player above…
