COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — One person is dead after a reported shooting in the Eastmoor section of east Columbus Sunday afternoon.
According to Columbus police, officers responded to the 2900 block of East Moreland Drive at approximately 4:35 p.m. for a report of a shooting. The victim, identified as 26-year-old Isaiah Hairston, was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition; the victim was pronounced dead at 5 p.m.
Shelton E. Sutton, 21, was interviewed at the scene, arrested, and charged with murder in Hairston’s death. Police said the shooting “has a domestic violence component,” but did not offer any further specifics…
