GROVE CITY — What began as a routine investigation into a stolen vehicle quickly escalated into a dangerous and chaotic crime spree involving shoplifting, a crash, and a violent robbery that left a mother injured. Grove City Police say all five suspects connected to the incident are now in custody.
On November 11, 2025, officers were alerted to a stolen vehicle traveling on Stringtown Road near Jackson Pike. As police searched the area, employees at Dick’s Sporting Goods reported a theft involving multiple suspects.
A short time later, officers located the stolen vehicle traveling westbound on Stringtown Road approaching I-71. The driver crashed into another vehicle, prompting three male suspects to flee on foot.
