Grove City – Stolen Vehicle, Shoplifting Incident Escalates Into Violent Robbery; Five Suspects Arrested

GROVE CITY — What began as a routine investigation into a stolen vehicle quickly escalated into a dangerous and chaotic crime spree involving shoplifting, a crash, and a violent robbery that left a mother injured. Grove City Police say all five suspects connected to the incident are now in custody.

On November 11, 2025, officers were alerted to a stolen vehicle traveling on Stringtown Road near Jackson Pike. As police searched the area, employees at Dick’s Sporting Goods reported a theft involving multiple suspects.

A short time later, officers located the stolen vehicle traveling westbound on Stringtown Road approaching I-71. The driver crashed into another vehicle, prompting three male suspects to flee on foot. Two female suspects remained at the scene and matched the description of those involved in the shoplifting incident…
