‘Gestapo Tactics’: Ohio Raid Sparks Community Fury

Reports have indicated that federal immigration agents previously arrested five individuals at Panchos Tacos in Ohio for allegedly being in the country illegally. The operation drew criticism from local officials and residents for lacking coordination with local authorities. Three of the detainees had previously been deported before re-entering the U.S. unlawfully.

Agents in unmarked vehicles detained several workers, with two agents sustaining minor injuries. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said the violations are felonies under U.S. immigration law.
