Caleb Downs hands out free turkeys and hams at the Mid-Ohio Market ahead of Thanksgiving

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Ohio State All-American safety Caleb Downs is preparing to play in his second rivalry game against Michigan and help the Buckeyes break the longest losing streak against the Wolverines since the early 90’s.

On the Monday of rivalry week, Caleb carved out time to help fight food insecurity in Central Ohio ahead of Thanksgiving.

“I feel like there’s always something to do and there’s always an impact to be made, and we always wanted to attack homelessness, and that was the big thing. So food is a part of that, so it’s just something to take off the list,” the safety said…
