COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A Thanksgiving meal with turkey and all the fixings is being delivered today to residents in the Columbus area, thanks to LifeCare ALLIANCE’s Meals on Wheels and a dedicated group of volunteers.
“You got to give back because we’re all one paycheck away from needing these resources,” said Yvonne Spruel, one of the volunteers.
Spruel, honoring her late mother’s teachings about community, added, “Growing up my mom always talked about community, just looking out for each other. I think now more than ever at this time, we need more love.”…
