BEXLEY, Ohio (WCMH) — Bexley City Schools is considering a 2026 ballot issue to fund a new middle school and facility upgrades.
In a special board meeting on Nov. 20, board members heard the results of a community survey and recommended facility funding opportunities. The board of education was clear that no decisions have been made, but it is likely that some recommendations will see progress by early 2026.
The district has been considering facility upgrades for several years, and Superintendent Jason Fine said they are now at a place to start making decisions. The district has three elementary schools: Maryland, Montrose and Cassingham. The middle and high school are connected to one another and to Cassingham elementary in a central plot of land called the Cassingham complex.
