REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio (WSYX) — Ja’Quawn Bridgmon was arraigned at the Franklin County Courthouse after police say he attacked an elderly couple in the parking lot of an Applebee’s on Brice Road.
The incident, which police say stemmed from a road rage case, occurred Monday at about noon. Officers responding to the 2700 block of Brice Road found a man with life-threatening injuries and his wife also injured.
“[My husband] backed away trying to retreat from this man, but he continued to be aggressive and shut him down,” said a statement from the man’s wife, read in court Friday. “[My husband] walked with a light brace and cane, and he was 50 percent disabled.”…
