Dublin man convicted of enticing a minor was wearing an ankle monitor

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A convicted sex offender from Dublin has been sentenced to a lengthy stay in federal prison after arranging to meet up with who he thought was a minor in Cincinnati.

According to federal prosecutors, Kyle Tennyson, 35, used the social media app Kasual to talk with and arrange to meet who he thought was a 15-year-old.

Tennyson was arrested on April 30, 2024, after he and an undercover agent, a task force officer with Homeland Security, began sending messages the previous day. Tennyson reached out to the agent and asked her how old she was.
