Local Longhorn Steakhouse employee receives corporate honor for grilling over 1 million steaks throughout tenure

A local steakhouse employee has received a unique honor from his employer.

According to a press release, Roberto “Birdie” Hernandez, a longtime employee of Longhorn Steakhouse in Columbus, is receiving recognition from the restaurant chain after having grilled more than 1,000,000 steaks throughout his employment.

Hernandez was named of Longhorn’s Grill Master Legends, the title given to chefs, (only 35 others in total across the country) who hit the one million steak mark…
