Tomato soup recalled in Ohio and 13 other states

(WJW) — Tomato basil soup sold in Ohio and 13 other states, is being recalled over concerns that milk was not properly listed as an allergen on the label.

According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Lil’ Turtles is recalling all lots of its Grandma Belle’s Tomato Basil Soup.

High-blood pressure medication voluntarily recalled: FDA

The soup was sold in 17-ounce glass jars at about 30 different small retail stores. The soup was sold from Sept. 23, 2022, to Dec. 3, 2025, according to the FDA.

“The issue was discovered during a routine inspection conducted by the Ohio Department of Agriculture. There have been no reports of illness involving the product addressed in this recall, however, people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious allergic reaction if they consume this product,” warns the recall alert…
