Four years marked with no arrests since two children and man were fatally shot in car

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Four years after a man and two young children were gunned down while sitting in a car in southeast Columbus, their killer or killers remain unknown.

According to Central Ohio Crime Stoppers, the investigation is ongoing into the death of Charles Wade and two small children, Demetrius Wall-Neal and Londynn Wall-Neal, who were shot and killed on Kodiak Drive, in the parking lot of the Winchester Lakes Apartments, just north of Canal Winchester.

The three victims were shot around 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 7, 2021, when two individuals reportedly got out of a black Nissan Altima that had tinted windows and no license plate. Police said the suspects approached a vehicle occupied by Wade and the children before firing multiple shots into the vehicle.

Demetrius was 9 years old, his sister Londynn was 6 years old, and Wade, the children’s mother‘s boyfriend, was 22. For a previous report on this story view the video player above.
