COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Ja’quawn Bridgmon, 27, remains in custody at the Franklin County Jail on a $1 million bond after pleading not guilty to charges of murder and assault in Franklin County Common Pleas Court.
Bridgmon is accused of fatally attacking 66-year-old Jesse Whistler and assaulting Whistler’s wife with a cane. The incident occurred on Dec. 1 in the parking lot of an Applebee’s restaurant on Brice Road.
