COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A 61-year-old man from Sunbury, Jeffrey Chesney, died in a car crash late Monday evening in Delaware County.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Chesney was driving northbound on I-71 around 10:19 p.m. when he veered onto the right shoulder and struck the rear end of a parked Freightliner commercial vehicle pulling a box trailer.
Chesney sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation…
