OHIO — A vehicle pursuit that began Saturday afternoon on Interstate 80 ended with two arrests and minor injuries to a state trooper, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers with the OSHP Hiram Post said the pursuit began around 12:15 p.m. on the Ohio Turnpike in Streetsboro Township after troopers attempted to stop a gray Ford F-150 believed to be stolen near the Streetsboro milepost. The driver failed to stop, leading troopers on a multi-county chase.
According to the patrol report, troopers deployed stop sticks three times during the pursuit, which deflated the truck’s front left tire. Despite the damage, the vehicle continued to flee until the rim disintegrated. The suspect exited at Exit 218 toward Niles-Youngstown and continued eastbound on Interstate 80…
