Two people arrested following multi-county police chase in Ohio

OHIO — A vehicle pursuit that began Saturday afternoon on Interstate 80 ended with two arrests and minor injuries to a state trooper, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Troopers with the OSHP Hiram Post said the pursuit began around 12:15 p.m. on the Ohio Turnpike in Streetsboro Township after troopers attempted to stop a gray Ford F-150 believed to be stolen near the Streetsboro milepost. The driver failed to stop, leading troopers on a multi-county chase.

According to the patrol report, troopers deployed stop sticks three times during the pursuit, which deflated the truck’s front left tire.
