Starting just in a couple of days, sharpshooters will be targeting the wildlife in many of Worthington’s residential areas.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture will be in charge of the operations, but they’ve only notified residents that it will happen “after dark.” The sharpshooters will be targeting deer specifically in 27 areas of Worthington as a way to “manage” them, but no specific times or addresses have been announced. However, if a property is 200 feet away from a site, they are being notified by mail, according to the City’s website.
