- Big Chicken, a fast-casual chain created by Shaquille O’Neal, said in April 2023 it would expand with 36 eateries across the Buckeye State, beginning in Columbus. However, Big Chicken’s Dayton restaurant remains the only location in the state, and the chain told NBC4 in September that it’s still “seeking the right locations” for its Ohio expansion
- A historic bar near Muirfield Village Golf Club that closed in 2022, the Bogey Inn will reopen as an “entertainment campus.” Rise Brands, the group operating Pins Mechanical Co. and 16-Bit Bar+Arcade, announced in January that it will relaunch the Dublin bar during summer 2026.
