Gahanna police investigating after stolen ATM recovered nearby

GAHANNA, Ohio — Gahanna police are asking for the public’s help in identifying people of interest involved in stealing an ATM early New Year’s Day.

According to Gahanna Division of Police Deputy Chief Jeffrey Lawless, officers responded to Kemba Financial Credit Union on North Hamilton Road just after midnight on an alarm drop. Officers observed damage to the concrete as well as debris in the area where the ATM once stood.

The machine was recovered about 20 minutes later in the entrance to an apartment complex parking lot on Rocky Creek Drive. Investigators are working with the bank to obtain security footage of the incident…
