Motorcyclist ejected, killed after crash on Downtown, Columbus highway

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A motorcyclist traveling through Downtown, Columbus died after a crash occurred Wednesday night on Interstate 70.

According to Columbus police, an adult was operating a Kawasaki motorcycle and traveling westbound on Interstate 70, near the east-side split with Interstate 71. For reasons not yet known, the adult was ejected from the motorcycle.

The crash occurred at around 10 p.m. and arriving medics took the victim to a hospital, where they were later pronounced dead. The Accident Investigation Unit also responded to the scene and its investigation remains ongoing.
