Police link man caught on camera taking off bloodied pants to South Linden shooting

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A man has been arrested after police say security camera footage showed a suspect removing his pants to conceal evidence from a Columbus shooting.

According to court documents, police responded Thursday to reports of a shooting in the parking lot of an Uncle Max Gas Station on East Hudson Street in the South Linden neighborhood. Officers arrived and found a man who had been shot in his face.

The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition, and the suspect reportedly fled just before 4 p.m.
