COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person died and a firefighter was hospitalized after first responders pulled a person from a vehicle after they drove into the water at Alum Creek State Park.
According to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, officers received a report after 12:45 p.m. for a report that someone drove their vehicle from a parking lot into the lake.
Several agencies responded and the person was rescued from the vehicle. The person was taken to Mount Carmel St. Ann’s in critical condition where they were pronounced dead. The Berlin Township Fire Chief says the person’s vehicle was completely submerged in 37-degree temperatures…
