$1 million lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — A Cleveland man is the winner of a $1 million top prize on an Ohio Lottery scratch-off ticket, lottery officials announced.

The winner claimed the prize from the Billion scratch-off game, which pays $50,000 a year for 20 years. He chose the cash option of $500,000. After state and federal taxes totaling 26.75 percent, his take-home amount will be $366,250.

The winning ticket was purchased at Sheetz #801, located at 6200 Brookpark Road in Cleveland
