Ohio Department of Transportation requests feedback on three major projects scheduled through 2029

Columbus, Ohio – The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 7 is requesting public comments on a series of upcoming transportation projects aimed at improving safety and roadway conditions in Clark, Mercer, and Montgomery counties. These projects include intersection upgrades, road reconstructions, and pedestrian improvements, each with targeted timelines extending into 2027 through 2029.

Roundabouts Proposed for Crash-Prone Intersections on US 68 and US 127

One project currently under review is the US 68 at Fairfield Pike Intersection Improvements (PID 120763) in Clark County. ODOT is proposing to install a modern roundabout at this intersection due to a “high rate of injury crashes” in the area. The new roundabout is expected to reduce the likelihood and severity of collisions by calming traffic flow. Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in the summer of 2028…
