He had purchased a Powerball ticket on September 23, 2025, then promptly forgot it existed. It wasn’t until the last week in December that he rediscovered the ticket in his wallet. Deciding to see if it was actually a winner, John took the lotto ticket to Tom’s Carry Out in Powhatan Point.
