HUNTINGTON, WV (WVNS) — An Ohio man was sentenced to prison for a federal drug crime in West Virginia.
According to a press release, 27-year-old Marquize Kuame Damon Scott, also known as “Q,” of South Point, Ohio was sentenced to five years and ten months in prison, followed by four years probation for distribution of 50 grams or more of a methamphetamine mixture.
Per court documents and statements made in court, on June 14, 2024, Scott sold an estimated 83.9 grams of methamphetamine to a confidential informant for approximately $700 in Huntington. Scott pleaded guilty, and as part of his plea, he admitted to the transaction and arranging it prior.

Scott also confessed to more criminal activity. He sold an estimated 55 grams of methamphetamine and 2.3 grams of cocaine to a confidential informant for $500 along Hal Greer Boulevard in Huntington…
