Bill would help townships incorporate faster in wake of property tax movement

HOWLAND, Ohio (WKBN) – Many local governments are concerned about what the citizen-led movement to ban property taxes could mean for their ability to function.

A bill introduced in Columbus would remove a roadblock for incorporation, giving townships that already function like a city a way to be better prepared should property taxes be abolished.
