OHIO — An investigation is underway following an incident at the Northeast Ohio Correctional Center in Youngstown, according to officials.
A representative for CoreCivic, which operates the facility, said the incident involved individuals being held for the company’s federal partners. CoreCivic works with the U.S. Marshals Service and Immigration and Customs Enforcementto house detainees while they go through the legal process.
