OHIO — A woman from New Matamoras is facing multiple drug and child endangerment charges following a welfare check conducted in late January, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said they responded to a welfare check on Jan. 29 and found the home to be in poor living condition. During the investigation, deputies located drug paraphernalia and controlled substances in plain view and in areas easily accessible to two children inside the residence.
