‘Very rare’ Ohio animal caught on trail camera. See the viral post

These nocturnal animals are so elusive that the Ohio Department of Natural Resources says it’s difficult to get an accurate count of how many live in the state.

However, trail cameras in Ashland and Sandusky counties have recently captured the creatures on film, marking “very rare” sightings of American badgers in Ohio, the ODNR Division of Wildlife wrote in a Facebook post. Since the post went up on Dec. 29, it has gotten nearly 3,000 reactions, 323 comments and 351 shares.
