A federal jury found a Columbus man guilty of transporting drugs in secret compartments within a vehicle driving from California to the Polaris Fashion Place.
According to court documents and trial testimony, agents in Albuquerque, New Mexico, told Homeland Security Investigation agents in central Ohio that New Mexico State Police troopers had stopped over a commercial car carrier in May 2024.
One of the vehicles hauled was on its route to Polaris Fashion Place in Delaware County. State police uncovered two secret compartments within the truck, containing a total of 28 kilograms of suspected narcotics.
