WESTERVILLE, Ohio (WCMH) — A man who was detained by police in 2024 for impersonating an officer was believed to have done so on other occasions by a Westerville police detective.
According to court documents, Brendan Conklin, of Westerville, is accused of impersonating a federal officer in 2023.
Conklin, 45, is charged with impersonating an officer or employee of the United States and making an arrest or search while impersonating an officer. It is at least the second incident in which he allegedly impersonated a law enforcement agent two years ago.
