COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A wrong-way driver in a deadly crash Friday morning on Interstate 71 in downtown Columbus was located six hours after the crash, according to a crash report from the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
The crash happened at about 2 a.m. near East Broad Street when a driver in a Chrysler Town and Country traveling south in the northbound lanes hit a Ford F-150 head on and was then hit by a semi-truck. Watch previous coverage in the player above.
That led to a second crash when a Ram pickup truck slowed down due to the initial crash and was rear-ended by another semi-truck, the crash report states.
