Columbus man charged after allegedly threatening to shoot ICE agents on X

A Columbus man has been charged after he allegedly threatened to kill U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents on X, formerly Twitter.

According to federal investigators, 21 year-old Juan Mesael Novoa was charged in late January with one count each of threatening to assault or murder a federal law enforcement officer (punishable by up to 10 years in prison) and making threatening interstate communications (punishable by up to five years in prison).
