One person arrested following shooting incident in Ohio

OHIO — A 33-year-old Zanesfield man was arrested early Saturday morning after allegedly firing a gun during what he reported as an attempted theft at his property.

According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched at approximately 3:41 a.m. Feb. 22 to a residence in the 8900 block of Township Road 177 on a report of an attempted camper theft.

The caller, identified as Jacob Field, told dispatchers he had been asleep inside his camper when someone tried to steal it. He also reported firing a shot at a vehicle he believed was involved. The vehicle was said to have left the area toward State Route 559…
