A chorus of sporadic honking echoed around Opera House Park on Main Street in Granville from 4-5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 22, as a group of protestors offered support to the Ohio Nurses Association in their fight to remove Leslie Wexner’s name from Ohio State University buildings.
Wexner, a longtime associate of convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, was mentioned in the partially declassified Epstein Files more than 1,000 times. The files include multiple redacted emails exchanged between Epstein and Wexner, as well as details of a $9 million donation Epstein made to the Wexner Foundation in 2001.
Wexner is also under fire by survivors of sexual assault involving the late Dr. Richard Strauss, a former Ohio State University doctor who has been accused of assaulting OSU athletes.
