CHILLICOTHE, Ohio (WCMH) — Hundreds of grams of drugs and a dozen weapons were confiscated last week as part a law enforcement effort in targeting trafficking in central Ohio.
According to a release from the U.S. 23 Major Crimes Task Force, the agency executed three drug-related search warrants in Ross County, which resulted in the apprehension of three individuals with active arrest warrants.

The arrests were a byproduct of an ongoing proactive efforts targeting drug and weapons trafficking along the U.S. 23 corridor in southcentral Ohio, including Ross, Highland, Hocking, Fayette, and Gallia counties.
Among the items seized during the execution of said warrants were the following:
- Approximately 180 grams of methamphetamine
- Approximately 28 grams of fentanyl
- 12 firearms, including eight rifles
- $,5,500 in U.S. currency
The task force said the estimated street value of confiscated drugs is around $20,000.
