COLUMBUS, Ohio — Parsec LLC, an intermodal terminal management and transport company based in Cincinnati, announced it is closing its facility in Columbus, resulting in the loss of 115 jobs.
The company submitted a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services announcing its intent to close the facility on the 3300 block of Thoroughbred Drive by May 1.
The notice says the closing is necessary because of the “loss of the entirety of the business contracted by the customer. All negotiations for an ongoing business relationship failed.”…
