COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A child has been recovered after they were abducted out of Madison County and later found near Hilliard Friday morning.
According to Columbus police, a child was found safely on Hilliard Rome Road in west Columbus after reports of an abduction were received at around 2:45 a.m. For an earlier report on this story view the video player above.

Police said the child was abducted from Madison Way in Plain City, just inside of the Madison County border, by a “known suspect.” Within an hour officers CPD was alerted to a Meijer store on Hilliard Rome Road due to a ping on the suspect’s cell phone.
No injuries were reported and the suspect, later identified as Andrew Gonzalez, was placed in custody…
