$2M bond set for man accused of shooting East High student outside library

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — The man accused of shooting an East High School student in the parking lot of an East Side library went before a judge Friday.

Nineteen-year-old Marsean Bowles is charged with felony assault in connection with the shooting outside the Martin Luther King Jr. Library near East High School on Thursday night. Prosecutors said Bowles and the student got into a verbal altercation outside the library before Bowles pulled out a gun and shot him in the stomach.
