COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Police were called Wednesday to several schools across central Ohio for alleged bomb threats.
According to Columbus police, officers were dispatched to Metro Early College High School, Columbus Alternative High School and Worthington Kilbourne. Worthington police sent officers to Thomas Worthington just after 11 a.m.

Among the districts affected were in Columbus, Gahanna, Dublin, Lancaster, Bexley and Worthington. According to media reports, districts in the Cincinnati and Toledo areas were affected, too.
The FBI said it was monitoring the situation but knew of no credible threats.
“The FBI is aware of a number of hoax threats in Central and Southern Ohio,” a statement read. “While we have no information to indicate a credible threat, we are currently working with our local, state, and federal law enforcement partners to gather, share, and act upon threat information.”…
