$100,000 reward offered in construction worker’s hit-and-run death

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A cash reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in the case of a construction worker who was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 70 in Columbus last week.

Jordan Thomas, 25, was working for Kokosing Construction in the area of I-70 and state Route 315 near downtown in the early morning hours of Feb. 28.

The Columbus Division of Police said a maroon Toyota sedan was traveling west on I-70 through a construction zone when the driver of the vehicle hit Thomas and a generator. Thomas was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Toyota did not stop…
